OmniFocus is bursting at the seams with features. It has dozens of organizational options and lets you create project lists with sub-categories. You can add due dates, flag important items on a list, and view tasks like an email inbox. It definitely scratches my itch for list-making and organizing. It is, however, a bit much for anyone just looking to quickly jot down a to-do list.

To ensure you don’t fail to carry out any necessary thing in time, set reminders. Even better, you can take the full advantage of iCloud integration to sync your data across macOS and iOS devices.
OmniFocus for Mac syncs with iPhone and iPad, and there’s even a web version, currently in testing, so you can access your tasks while using Windows devices (sadly this is occasionally necessary.)
Overdue tasks, location-based tasks, recent tasks, etc.

From now on pressing that key combination triggers the script. One thing I have noticed is that running the script in the AppleScript Editor is significantly faster than running it as a service.
